Loey is a Chrome extension by Moyo Studio that captures live websites as stills and recordings. This policy explains what Loey accesses, why, and where it goes. Questions: hello@loey.app.

What Loey is for

Loey has a single purpose: capturing the website in your current tab as an image or a recording. Everything below serves that purpose and nothing else.

What Loey accesses, and why

• Website content. To make a capture, Loey reads the page you are on. This happens on your device to produce your capture. Loey does not send the page to us unless you turn on cloud storage.
• Your licence key and a device identifier. If you buy Pro, Loey sends your licence key and an identifier for the device to our payments provider to check your plan and count it against your five devices.
• Diagnostics you choose to send. When you email support, Loey pre-fills one line with the Loey version, your Chrome version and your operating system. It is shown to you before you send and you can delete it.

What Loey does not do

Loey does not collect your browsing history, does not run analytics or tracking, does not show ads, and does not sell or rent your data to anyone.

Where your captures go

By default, captures are saved to your device's Downloads folder. If you turn on cloud storage, your captures are stored in our cloud storage provider [Cloudflare R2] and transmitted over an encrypted connection. You can delete them at any time.

Who we share data with

• [Lemon Squeezy] processes payments and validates licences. See their privacy policy.
• [Cloudflare R2] stores your captures if you enable cloud storage. See their privacy policy.

Payments are handled by [Lemon Squeezy] as merchant of record. We do not see or store your full card details.

Keeping and deleting your data

Captures you delete are removed. If you cancel Pro or ask us to, we delete your cloud-stored captures. To request access to or deletion of your data, email hello@loey.app.

Security

Data that leaves your device, such as licence checks and cloud captures, is sent over encrypted connections.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us at hello@loey.app and we will act on your request.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

Loey's collection and use of user data complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes

If we change how Loey handles data, we will update this page and its date, and disclose the change before it takes effect.
